I can't listen to B&S at all. When I was at college years ago they were recording the Tigermilk album there. Every day the common room would be subjected to the very latest demo, rough mix, alternative mix, final mix etc...

I'm sure that fans of the band would love the chance to hear all that stuff, but hearing the same songs over and over again with slightly different mixes was not pleasurable for me. In fact, it's the reason I can't listen to them these days. Tigermilk is worth a few quid these days if you have the original pressing, but I know that at least 2 copies were turned into ashtrays by people in the NUS office - one of them within 2 minutes of arriving at the office, by an NUS officer who once selotaped the tape deck shut so the music students couldn't put their most recent B&S tape into the machine.

lol.

i know what you mean.
i find it hard to listen to my brothers music now after hearing it so many times with one chord different each time...

i would also suggest yelle as an upbeat thing...everyone likes french electropop!

I hope so, Fruity's timeslot has been crap the last few weeks. All chart nonsense and absolutely nobody in the chat room. First few weeks replacements were very good though.

Sorry guys, I have been laid off until June as they have got a DJ with some sponsorship and the station really needs the dosh to keep going.

I can meet you all in the chat room today though :)
