great gig. can someone post the setlist? cant remember seeing so many crowd surfers for years. went over the top about 5 times myself. quite a small most pit, but thats a sign of how old we all are i suppose. the franks and sultans were ok, personally i'm a little bored of seeing them support. great to met the guy who's flown over from Vienna for the gig. also noticed monkey boys 4um t-shirt down near me. whoever let one go near the end though, you need to see a doctor.
as ever as Sheps Bush the sound was very quiet.
also, why again, were the bootleg t shirts better than the official ones.

Nah can't agree about the bootleg swag you were doing all right up until then, but hey everyone has an opinion & that's what makes life a box of chocolates

Thought it was an awesome night, got a photo with Clinton USM in the pub before hand. Somehow ended up right at the front on the railings when Carter came on. Almost wish I hadn't the crush was full on, and being tallish meant plenty of boots caught my head with those passing over on their way down, haha. Managed to pull away into the mid pit a few songs in....and thought why not get a bit of surfin in, initially I was not too sure if we could, seen so many occasions when security chuck you out, but it looked a safe bet what with the number doing it. I had 4 or 5 runs during the gig, last one though, (and now I know why its banned these days). I came down okay, but another chap following stumbled as he went over the bar, grabbed his arm to steady him, but that then put me over as I lost my balance, bang face first into the ground, spilt my bottom lip, bruised my knees, gashed both arms, one really swelled up......still I survived, just had to stay on the pit fringe for the last bit. Great set plenty of songs thundered through. Awsome night indeed it was.

That happened in front of me almost you alright now? The security were fantastic both nights.

The supports were both fantastic.
The Frank and Walters were brilliant.
The Sultans of Ping were brilliant with shinier trousers.
Then Carter were especially brilliant there aren't three better bands line up was perfect.
Now I've decided I want to know who that man from Leeds is and something about squirrels.
I lost my faith with my taste for sausages and hate.
