My brother in law, Gary, has just been named Sunday Times Landscape Photographer of the year. Check out his sit to see the pic. He has some carter photos there as well under 'editorial, portraits and events'.

I like the fact that the winning pic seems quite treated when its very natural in reality. I love the bonkersness of the different weathers on either side. I am biased though as I know Barney the dog very well - and he has come to stay with the wife and I for weekend visits when his owners go away!

Gary got ten grand for that one pic. How cool is that?

He is taking some pics of the Brixton Carter gig this year, and Jim and I are thinking of getting him some new press shots done with Gary.

Some good stuff as Dan was saying.
I did like the winning photo, and the inclusion of Barney with his long hair getting blown by the wind, added more movement to it :D

I also liked the jogger under Santa Monica pier, that was a good shot 8)
Keep asking the questions
And question the answers

Fantastic stuff. A well-deserved winner there I reckon. I'd be hard pushed to pick a favourite from that lot because there wasn't one I didn't love.

I'm just off to bin my camera now..
